Clackmannanshire Tourist Association will be pulling the crowds into the county, thanks to a new project in conjunction with the Stirling University Research & Enterprise (SURE). Both are set to be working hard on a marketing project which will explore the best ways to promote Clackmannanshire, and increase tourism in the area.

Sarah Cameron, Social Enterprise Manager, is delighted. "This is a fantastic opportunity and couldn't come at a better time, with all the changes that are going on in Clackmannanshire - the Association will be able to combine our experience of tourism in the county with the sound marketing expertise of staff and students of the University"

This undertaking is part of a larger ERDF funded project between the University of Stirling and Forth Valley College. Susan Grasekamp, ERDF Project Manager at the University of Stirling explains. “The project aims to strengthen links between the business community and educational institutions. We can help businesses tap into our resources, enabling them to improve their services and eliminate growth barriers. The University has a wealth of expertise spanning everything from accountancy to web design – what better place for businesses to get the help they need? ".
